Jokes Are Great for Kid’s Development

Why do I CREATE joke videos?

Three reasons!

One Reason

It’s fun to make people smile or even laugh-out-loud. Smiling is great for our brain and body! Jokes are great for kid’s development too. There are many health benefits.

Second Reason

I can CREATE fun speaking parts for joke videos, as I have eleven grandchildren, and we enjoy CREATING them together. They love hearing the new jokes and will tell them over-and-over again once they learn them. Telling jokes boosts a child’s confidence and social skills. It’s great for their development, and they are also great conversation starters for kids.

The kids sound cute in the videos too! So far, we’ve had a Dracula with an ah-ah-ah laugh, a Santa with a ho-ho-ho-ha! laugh, a cupid with a funny little laugh, and a robot with a slow-bot laugh. The characters, played by some of our younger g-kids, have funny responses too!

Third Reason

They are a CREATIVE outlet for me. For the robot joke video, I researched robot jokes, then CREATED new ones by switching out either the question or the answer. Most rhyme with ‘Ro’ or ‘Bot’. I even thought of some on my own jokes, once I got into making the script for the video.

I hope you and your family enjoy them and share a joke or two!

Fun Fact About Me - Making Paper Roll Projects with the Kids

Fun Fact About Me

I save toilet paper and paper towel rolls for CREATIVE kid’s projects!

Yup! I’m a recycler! I have a whole box full of cardboard toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls. The g-kids can grab one out of that box and start creating whatever they want. Sometimes, I provide examples of things they can make with them for inspiration.

Many, Many Projects

They’ve made bats at Halloween, bunnies at Easter, fancy pirate telescopes, and, even, kaleidoscopes. We CREATED robots too! I hope you’re having fun with recycled items too.
